Day 1 Studios’ Midwestern base of operation is in Chicago. Otherwise known as the Windy City, Chicago is home to many things including, the Cubs and Wrigley Field, the Art Institute of Chicago, and a great section of Lake Michigan. With zillions of theatres, bars, nightclubs, and restaurants, there’s always something to do when you aren’t dreaming up tactical positions, calculating light falloff, or error-checking lines of code to find your latest bug. Close to public transportation whether you are smack dab on the Magnificent Mile or looking at coyotes all the way out in Vernon Hills, Chicago is the central hub for most intellectual, physical, social, and even spiritual activities in the Midwest.

Day 1 Studios’ East Coast base of operations is in Sparks/Hunt Valley, Maryland. This rural area is within an upscale business community. Just north of Baltimore and accessible by the Baltimore Light Rail, Hunt Valley is about a half an hour away from the metro area, as well as an hour and a half from Washington, DC. The Oregon Ridge State Park is nearby for premium access to hiking, fishing, biking, running, as well as two natural swimming quarries. Hunt Valley has good, clean fun and good, clean air but is close enough to the rest of the world that you definitely won’t miss out.
